Chris Vedis, a Fine Artist and Military Veteran, is known for his stunning handcrafted and painted works of art that showcase his expertise in Abstract, Airbrush, and traditional methods. From a young age, Chris displayed a natural talent for creativity and artistry. After graduating from high school in Ohio, he pursued his passion by attending the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where he earned an Associates Degree in Visual Communications.
Following his college years, Chris gained valuable experience working at a design firm in Pittsburgh, where he honed his skills in printing and design. Starting in the darkroom, he eventually transitioned to assisting in the design process and learning website design. Despite facing challenges in his business endeavors, Chris remained resilient and joined the Nevada Army National Guard in 2001, dedicating the next 12 years to serving his country with two overseas tours.
After a decade and a half hiatus from his art, Chris rediscovered his passion and began creating original abstract artworks through airbrushing. His pieces evoke a sense of nostalgia from his childhood and provide an escape from the stresses of everyday life.
