Reneé Moss

Coconut Road Art
Santa Rosa Beach, FL

Renee Moss is an amateur artist and writer and a retired graphic designer, hailing from the southeastern United States and residing part-time in the Turks and Caicos Islands and in the Florida panhandle. She is moved by nature and quietly keeps an artistic travel journal, capturing photographs and sketching beautiful vignettes of island, coastal and southern life, as she experiences them during her travels.

Inspired by unexpected swims with friendly wild dolphins, a stream of sea turtles, the sighing sway of rustling palms, life sustaining gifts from the sea such as the revered Queen Conch, rustic island cottages, gates that peak one’s curiosity—and the sparkle in the eyes of locals and visitors alike— Renee simply draws what she sees and loves. There’s no flower, stray kitten or sandy shoal that fails to captivate her imagination, as she chases them to immortality using colored pencil, chalk pastel, ink and even charcoal.

Select prints are offered on the island of Providenciales at Atelys—a jewelry boutique—and at Farmer’s Daughter Vineyards in Thomasville, GA. Custom sizes can be ordered online.
