Nature is my main inspiration. These images are my way of connecting with the natural world. They originate from a desire to see things as they truly are, then explore their relationships and the sublime artistry within. The materials act as a bridge between my internal wonder and the external discovery of connectedness. Sometimes, it's all just for fun.
When seen on the screen, I see beauty everywhere. I hold my breath, waiting for the image to appear in those moments. Then I discover which elements belong together and what else might be possible. What detail or pattern will emerge in that ethereal light and dark realm? How will the colors sync? What else is needed?
The tension between serendipity and control is always present. I enjoy the excitement of unpredictability and the reward that comes from experimenting with each unique piece. It's similar to writing poetry.
Imagine this and look closely to notice things that are familiar yet entirely new. The imparlance of Nature is holding its breath for you.
