I am a dedicated wetlands and marine biologist with over 15 years of experience studying, traveling, and working in the wetlands conservation industry. My work has taken me across diverse landscapes, but I have always felt most at home in the dynamic and ecologically rich wetlands of south Louisiana. Since childhood, I’ve been deeply fascinated by the natural world—a passion that led me to pursue a life devoted to science, conservation, and environmental stewardship. Alongside my scientific endeavors, I’ve also maintained a lifelong love for the arts, especially photography and painting. These creative pursuits allow me to document and share the intricate beauty of the ecosystems I work to protect. I am particularly drawn to waterfowl, whose elegance, adaptability, and seasonal rhythms I witness regularly in both my professional work and recreational time outdoors.
