A US Navy Vietnam veteran and self-taught artist, this individual has had a diverse career in the arts. Working for the Martin/F. Weber Co. in Philadelphia, they traveled extensively, teaching beginner oil and acrylic workshops across the US, Eastern Canada, and parts of the UK. Their focus was on the Permalba Oil and Prima Acrylic product lines, sharing their expertise with eager students. They have also published two books and created numerous instructional videos to help others learn the craft.

As a past member of the Decorative Painters Society of the US, this artist has shared their skills at conventions and trade show venues, inspiring others in the field. However, health concerns related to chemical fumes led them to shift their focus to digital art in 2006. Drawing on their background in Computer Science, they now create stunning pieces using an iPad and Procreate, or on their PC & Mac with Rebelle 7 Pro software and an XP-Pen Artist Pro 24 Drawing Display.
