Anna Shevtsova

Anna creates her art with the intention of reaching the souls and hearts of her viewers. Through her paintings, she aims to convey a range of emotions such as admiration, joy, awe, and marvel. Each piece is approached as a portrait, whether it be of a single animal, tree, or a vast landscape like the Grand Canyon. Anna delves deep into the essence and spirit of her subjects through study and meditation, allowing her to connect with them on a profound level.

Having always been drawn to exploring new avenues in art, Anna expanded her toolbox by learning graphic and web design. She had the privilege of creating a website and Newsletter for a UNESCO project commemorating the 1500 Anniversary of the City Turkestan in Kazakhstan. This project was recognized and included in the UNESCO List of Anniversaries. Anna has experimented with various media, but her favorites remain pencil, acrylic, and watercolor.

Some of Anna's acrylic paintings, including an Art Composition, were selected for the 24th and 25th Annual Juried Art Show and Competition at Breckenridge Fine Art Center in Texas, and were published in their catalogs. Her painting style is best described as "romantic realism," where she hopes to evoke a desire in viewers to appreciate the beauty and diversity of the world around us through her interpretations of flora, fauna, and landscapes. For those interested in adding a touch of Anna's soulful and heartfelt artwork to their homes or offices, prints are available for purchase.
