Anna Shevtsova

Anna creates her art with a deep connection to her soul and heart, aiming to convey her feelings and emotions to her viewers through each painting. Whether depicting a single animal, a tree, or a vast landscape like the Grand Canyon, she approaches each piece as a portrait, seeking to capture the unique essence and spirit of her subjects. This process involves study and meditation to truly tune into the painting subject, resulting in a deeper understanding and connection by the time the painting is completed.

Drawing inspiration from exploring new avenues in art, Anna has expanded her toolbox by learning graphic and web designs. In Kazakhstan, she had the privilege of creating a website and Newsletter for a UNESCO project, commemorating the 1500th Anniversary of the City Turkestan, an event included in UNESCO’s List of Anniversaries. While she has experimented with various media, her favorite mediums include pencil, acrylic, and watercolor, each allowing her to bring her romantic realism style to life.

Some of Anna's acrylic paintings, including an Art Composition, were selected for the 24th and 25th Annual Juried Art Show and Competition at Breckenridge Fine Art Center in Texas, and published in their catalogs. Through her artwork, Anna hopes to evoke a desire in others to appreciate the magnificent and diverse world around us, showcasing the beauty of flora, fauna, and landscapes. For those looking to enhance their home or office decor, prints of Anna's paintings are available for purchase, inviting viewers to bring a piece of her soulful and heartfelt art into their own space.
