Anna Shevtsova

Anna creates her art with a focus on the soul and heart, aiming to convey her deep feelings and emotions to her viewers. Through her paintings, she seeks to evoke admiration, joy, awe, and marvel in those who experience her work. Each painting is approached as a portrait, whether it be of an animal, tree, or vast landscape like the Grand Canyon. Anna strives to capture the unique essence and spirit of her subjects, requiring study and meditation to truly tune into the painting subject.

Always drawn to exploring new avenues in art, Anna expanded her toolbox by learning graphic and web design. In Kazakhstan, she had the privilege of creating a website and Newsletter for a UNESCO project commemorating the 1500th Anniversary of the City Turkestan, an event that was included in the UNESCO List of Anniversaries. While Anna has experimented with various media, her favorites remain pencil, acrylic, and watercolor.

Some of Anna's acrylic paintings, including an Art Composition, were selected for the 24th and 25th Annual Juried Art Show and Competition at Breckenridge Fine Art Center in Texas, and published in their catalogs. She describes her painting style as "romantic realism," hoping that her interpretation of flora, fauna, and landscapes in her artwork inspires others to appreciate the diverse world around us even more. For those looking to bring a touch of Anna's soulful and heartfelt art into their homes or offices, prints of her work are available for purchase.
