Alan Schroeder is a Guilderland, N.Y. based Wildlife Photographer / Naturalist with a lifelong passion for capturing the world around him. Growing up in a small town in Western Michigan, Alan’s surroundings and experiences have greatly influenced his creative process. Inspired by the world around him, Alan is driven to capture moments in time that showcase his deep connection to nature, one that he hopes will resonate with others as deeply as they do with him. Each photograph is a testament to his passion for uncovering hidden beauty in the world around him.
As a photographer, he strives to share the beauty of nature, as he sees it. So often we go through the day without seeing the truly remarkable things all around us. It could be a fox hunting in a field, a hawk silently soaring on the air currents above us, a small butterfly or even a small wildflower growing from a crack in the sidewalk where a bird happened to drop a seed.
