I set forth to create discrete images through combination of found and printed-paper collage, drawing, and various image transfer techniques. Drawing from a diversity of source imagery—textured paper, textile patterns, line diagrams, maps, notational fragments, anatomical drawings, along with images of patterns and textures found in the natural world—I seek to create a set of cohesive pictorial ideas from unrelated fragments.
