Measure Twice, Cut Once

Bunnies & Friends By Nancy E. Polo

Artist Nancy Polo imagines some of her friends and cohorts as various animals... sometimes Bunnies. This painting is dedicated to Cullen Smith, a former apprentice and co-worker at Smith Meadows. This scene is the construction of winter quarters for the laying hens at Smith Meadows. Cullen realized that he should have measured twice and cut once. It was too late when the 2"x6" hit him in the face. There's a lot more than you realize in every dozen eggs.
