Artist Nancy Polo imagines some of her self, her friends and cohorts as various animals... sometimes Bunnies. Classic Greek and Roman Mythology are also inspirations for the artist. Here the hard work of ushering in spring is being celebrated with tea and the goddess Flora. In the background sleeps Zephyr, the West Wind from Sandro Botticelli's famous painting The Birth of Venus. He blends into the Blue Ridge of Virginia. In the foreground are the glass shards from all the cloches that protected the young flowers that lay dormant during the Winter.
