Do you ever think about having a good relaxing kind of fun? Nothing perfect, nothing too thought out. No stress. Just good old curiosity intuition fun. That would be what this painting was born out of. And the magic draws me in to the dream castle. How fun would it be to live here? All the rooms and hallways to explore, All the secret passageways, hidden rooms, and antiques...long lost letters tucked away in locked drawers, no key to be found. The possibilities are endless! I recently found out that in the generations past of my moms side of the family, there are letters written in German. They were found after my grandmother passed away and the house was cleaned out. We have no idea what they say, and I have never seen them myself, but I am pretty sure they are about something super secret and delicious. Like an old family recipe for the best German Chocolate Cake, or maybe German Bearor Bonds. Maybe this painting is a German Castle and maybe, just maybe the super secret lost (and now found) letters came from here! The imagination is a crazy thing, right? How did I go from laying down acrylic paint and scribbling in it with crayons, to a famous and mysterious German Castle filled cake with hidden secrets? What do you see in this painting? A Castle?
