Cats Beauty The Amur Leopard - Original Photography by Karol Livote The Amur Leopard has a life span 10-15 years on the average, sometimes 20 years. They are mainly nocturnal. They spend their days resting in tree nests, which they construct as sleep platforms. The can leap 20 feet horizontally and 10 feet vertically. They have long limbs to enable them to walk thru snow. A male can weigh between 80 - 200 lbs and a female can weigh between 62 - 132 lbs. Their main prey is Roe Deer, Silka Deer, Wild Boar, Hares, Badgers and Raccoon dogs. The Amur Leopard is also know as the Korean Leopard, Manchurian Leopard and/or the Far Eastern Leopard. They are also critically endangered. This beauty is at the Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
