Gorilla - Western Lowland Gorilla - The Western Lowland Gorilla is endangered. It has a life span of 50 years while in captivity and about 35 years in the wild. They are found in the wild in West and Central Africa. Females weigh in anywhere up to about 200 pounds and the males are up to 400 pounds. They eat mainly fruits, plant parts and insects. The habitat is a tropical evergreen forest.
