Pololu Valley Lookout #2

Seaside By Eric Winkler

A telephoto view down the coast from the steep and muddy trail that descends 150 m to wild and beautiful Pololu Valley, Big Island, Hawaii. The valley, whose name means "Long Spear" in Hawaiian, was created by erosion and collapse of the northern flank of the Kohala volcano, with cliffs and black sand beaches.
