Wildflowers, Col de la Croix Saint Robert, Le Mont Dore, France. The pass, at 1451m, is a popular cycling route between Le Mont-Dore and Besse-et-Saint-Anastaise and the regional natural park of the Auvergne volcanoes. It was traversed as part of the 8th Stage of the 2011 Tour de France. ⁠ The top of the pass gives way to lush green fields and gently sloping grazing land. There is also hiking access to the Roc de Cuzeau, which forms the eastern side of an ancient volcanic caldera.⁠
