Roc de Cuzeau and Clouds

Mountain Views By Eric Winkler

iew of the Roc de Cuzeau from top of Le Capucin, Le Mont-Dore, France. The Roc, at 1737m, forms the east wall of the caldera of an extinct volcano in the Puy de Sancy range in the Massif Central. As we reached the top of le Capucin, the cloud bank suddenly parted to expose the Roc. I was able to quickly grab this image before it was once again enveloped in mist.
