I think it's ironic that we have bird watchers and yet these red birds like to watch us. Lots of people believe a cardinal is there because of a loved one who has passed & when you see it they are sending their love. The red bird will usually show up when you most need that person or are thinking of them and miss them. I think I'll paint this one one day with a pair of binoculars hanging from his neck.
