Photograph. Situate beneath Mt. Belukha on the Siberian and Khazakstani border in Altai this chapel in memory of hikers and climbers lost on the mountain was photographed in 2007. The rough hewn interior was simply adorned with Orthodox iconography.. The Belukha glacier loomed ahead on the trail.
