Inspired by a study comparing the Western Zodiac to the Mayan Calendar this print in the Earth Acupuncture series imagines the glyph symbols as the icon for a geomantic stake intended to heal the Earth informed by the glyphs. It is a work of imagined historical fancy exploring the chthonic dimensions of the imagination. There is no known historical record of such geomantic needles.
