Photography. One never knows when the birds will show up. This House Finch appeared on the East side of Kit Carson Park in Taos after a stretch of walking where know birds showed up. I find the geometry of the bird's crown fascinating and obviously she has just finished a hearty meal. The late afternoon was favorable. I had know idea I would get one my favorite and best shots when I set out to walk the park.
