Framed by gnarly trees with sun warming their branches, the distant blue peaks display layer after layer of blue. This shot was a low humidity day and bright sun, but cool. The effect of those conditions produced this amazing shot. Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway near Mt. Pisgah. This photograph was shot mid December 2021. 70mm, f/7.1, 1/80 second exposure.
