This amazing shot was taken high on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Mt Pisgah. This particular day the sun and clouds created such an unique lighting atmosphere, with very little mist and layered mountains. The striking shades of blue and the layered mountain ridges create a beautiful depth to this shot. This day was a cool day with low humidity, the blues of the mountain ranges and the sky blend together and create this “Blue Heaven”. look in the mid to far distance you can see the profile of Looking Glass Rock. This photograph was shot mid September 2022. 39mm, f/701, 1/160 second exposure.
