Red Layers - Grand Canyon South Rim

This is a vertical image that shows the many colorful layers of the rock at the Grand Canyon in Arizona, USA. This was taken in mid-May, 2019. It was a clear spring day with blue skies but still forecast to be cold that night. My aunt and I were in the middle of a month-long road trip that took us from the East coast to the West, then we stopped for several family visits on our way back. These Grand Canyon photos were taken on a day trip from Phoenix, with two aunts, a cousin and her three daughters, myself and my daughter. It was a great adventure! :)
