African Iris, 2023

7. Color By Alessandra Chaves

The African Irises in my mother's garden open their flowers every other day and the flowers only last one day. They are so beautiful and delicate when the bud opens up. Viewed from the side, the flowers sometimes resemble the head of an insect. A black and white version of this image is available in my gallery "Flower".
