Frantic, Inverted

Abstract By Jason Dean

As a polar vortex descended on the waters of Lake Superior, millions upon millions of air bubbles made a desperate attempt to flee and find warmth. Some were unsuccessful in their attempt to escape, and their punishment was purgatory; frozen in time, doomed to watch the world around them move forward while they hung in suspended animation just below the surface.
