This image is part of my Lichen Portraits series. The actual lichen grouping is roughly 1/2" wide in reality, however, using techniques of ultra-macro photography combined with image stitching and focus stacking, I have combined over 60 individual images to create this detailed view. It really is best as a larger print I love being able to bring beautiful, tiny pieces of nature to a larger scale and expose the details we often overlook. I believe this is best shown as a large print - 16 x 20 or larger, to have the most visual impact. This image is printed on high-quality luster paper and includes an additional 1" border to allow for matting and framing options. Print only - No matte or frame The print is digitally signed. If you are interested in hand-signed prints or other size or paper options, please contact me and we can discuss it. Other sizes may also be available on request.
