Fort Sumter (Charleston) Light

Lighthouses By Sean Mcwilliams

A handsome, utilitarian design from 1855 for the much-storied Fort Sumter in Charleston Harbor, SC, this lighthouse was doomed to nothing more than a pile of brick rubble by the civil war a few short years after its design and construction. Another long-since vanished, but not forgotten lighthouse of the Charleston Harbor.
