Violins By Lazarus Hunt

From an original oil painting. Classical realism, a violin still life, one of seven painted during lockdown using props from my studio, featuring the two volume Encyclopedia of Music gifted to me by my mentor. Inspired by the 17th century dutch masters I've even included a hand blown Raspberry Roemer glass, as well as a tiger(cowrie) shell, and vintage sheet music from my private collection. All this is set on a marble slab surrounded by other artifacts from my studio.
