My friend grew up on this farm that is now since abandoned. The fields are still put to use for a bit longer. I enjoy painting old barns as I believe they are becoming extinct here in New England. Painting them is my part in their preservation. I call in the spirits of place to guide me in my work and honor the hard-working families; stewards of land and animals, they represent.
