This painting was created based on various beautiful photos of pink skies and lush fields of untamed grass. Layers of color create the slightly abstracted artwork. My landscape paintings are intended to invoke a sense of dreamlike nostalgia by the viewer. Although you may not have witnessed the actual scenery depicted, I hope the imagery takes you to a place of fond memories and feelings of peace. Just Imagine... It's one of those days where you can’t feel the temperature of the air because it is so perfect. But the last of the day's sunshine is beaming down and you can feel just a hint of its warmth on your cheek. A subtle breeze rustles through the grass periodically. Just enough to kick up dust that glitters in the fading sunlight and tickles your ankles as you walk barefoot, carefully, back to the house for dinner. Remembering the innocence of childhood.
