Neowise Flyby

Night Sky By George Lin

Neowise - Comet Up Close The Night Sky By George Lin Share on Pinterest File Details Neowise Stopping by Earth. 2020 Back Story: I tried 3 attempts to photograph the comet Neowise inside the bay, and all three had Karl (the fog) finding its way in every time. Fog is ever-present during the summer months in the bay. I attempted a more methodical way for my 4th. I looked at light pollution and elevation maps to look for a spot that would not only be above the fog but would allow me to see Neowise clearly. Finally, some success at seeing splitting the tail. This photo sums up my admiration for chasing after things that are not easily seen. See you in 3000 years.
