20. Cape May Lighthouse

Donald Hazen Brown Archive By Don Brown

8/11/2005 - CAPE MAY, NJ. To get an ocean view of the lighthouse at Cape May, I walked down the wide sandy beach toward the surf, turned around, and sketched the lighthouse, as it would be seen from the water's edge. The Cape May Light House is situated at the very end of New Jersey between the Atlantic Ocean and the Delaware Bay. For years it guided ships at sea to either the bay or the ocean. Many times in life we are often confronted with either or situations. We need markers along the way to assist us in the decisions; some sign that we are headed in the right direction. We need a "lighthouse" to guide us in our choices.
