A Tiny Orchestra of Flowers

USA/Sacramento By Derrick Kelly

The vernal pools of Mather come to life in Spring, when they days start gettting longer and the sun warmer, the winter ponds dry up and thousands of tiny little flowers burst into life in the pinds. THe ponds are also home to some unique and rare California Tiger salamanders. I read that only 10% of California's original vernal pools remain. How important to protect these for future generations
