Beacon of Hope

Seascapes By Robert F. Clark

This is the largest oil painting I have done and presented many challenges for me. First was the composition because it came from my imagination second was the many changes I made along the way. My friend, who inspired me was a real blessing and at one point saved this painting from being thrown in the dump, she calls it the resurrection painting and rightfully so. I like to call it a Beacon of Hope because beacon is a symbol of guiding light. When I first started this painting I had no idea what it was going to be except I wanted to do a seascape, from there I just let the Master Artist take control. The Master Artist for me is the creator of the heavens and earth, all the animals of the forest are His. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills, all the world is His. Beacon of Hope, trust me in your times of trouble, so I can rescue you, and you can give me glory. Psalms 50.
