Temple of Apollo, Corinth

Greece By David D. Pearce

These are the majestic Doric columns of the Temple of Apollo at Corinth, Greece. Sitting on the isthmus of the same name, Corinth was a major center of art and trade in Ancient Greece. It commanded the narrow land entrance to the Peloponnesus, as well as communications between the Ionian and Aegean seas. St. Paul preached here for a year and six months.
