Hadrian's Library, Athens

Greece By David D. Pearce

This is one of my first efforts at painting the Acropolis from the perspective of Hadrian’s Library in the Plaka, my favorite vantage point for my favorite subject. I was very happy when the original work was acquired by a friend and colleague with whom I had served in Greece, Afghanistan and Washington D.C.
