Balancing: Skellig Michael. Before he rowed the boat ashore on this small island off the southwest Ireland coast, the rocks had called to him with a call to awaken Earth to her remembrance. Now the archangel stood, both on the the harsh rocky island named in his honor and also on the shores looking out over the Wild Atlantic Way. The solitary bird sat in communion with him. Together, they gave thanks for how the ancient ways had been held deep within the earth and would awaken its people in the fullness of time. They gave thanks for the turtles who traversed not only these seas but swam faithfully through the waters of the skies. Rain fell through sun, and the sun broke through with the soft radiance of a new day dawning and a new hope. This was the balancing at Skellig Michael that would flow through the veins of this Earth and provide a new foundation for the wholeness of its people. What does your soul remember?
