Just beyond the passage tomb, at the edge of the windswept mountain, she gazed out upon the fertile fields and all the swimming mountains beyond. After so much had been lost, still there was this second passage to the promised land, the new beginning. The warrior and his queen rose up from the land and angels descended from above. The mountains shape-shifted into the tranquil dolphin swimming through the the late autumn day and the trees came together in community for conversation. In the far distance she saw a vision of her future self, small but strong, and working with whatever storms may come, finding patterns of potential and so many reasons to live.
