He looked out over the water and thought of all the dreams that had been taken by life's storm. Yet, somehow, there was peace in the pieces and a green hope that grew in his heart. This painting was inspired by the Tarmon Abbey ruins overlooking Lough Allen in County Leitrim. This painting is from the Stories in Stone series of Ireland landscape paintings.
