A fiery sky had the trees alive with vibrant reds and the sun was so low in the sky that the Irish wood below had been enveloped by an inky black. All along a large fallen branch that stood in my path, a mossy vine shimmered like teal-tinged wings, illuminated by the sun behind me. The exposed portion of the branch, glowing green, leaned at a steep angle into the horizon line. She was undaunted, leaning into her life as if she was unafraid meet the sun face to face and dance on the edge of the last light. What is your essential story of life? What is alive in you?
