The year I turned 33 my life turned in upon itself. I wandered through a world of blinding light and moved unseeing toward the tree of life my heart remembered. I seemed hopelessly lost and stumbled through the dark. I came to rest beneath the lonely tree and only then could I see that mine had been a road of many riches, paved for those adorned by God in robes of purple leaves and a crown of radiance. Refined by life, and all the back and forth, we are revealed as radiant and resplendent, meant to partake of the glory and goodness of God.
