This painting was inspired by horses running free in a springtime Kentucky field. The painting is focused on the energy emanating from the spirited horse herself. Her multi-colored mane flies wild in the springtime winds. She exudes an air of optimism and grace. In this painting, I sought to capture a mix of fierce independence and an unbridled spirit of adventure.
