This piece was created with my non-dominant hand. From a single stalk of the true vine, a girl in a red dress teeters, on the verge of losing faith. From the skies a menacing wind blows forth, muddying her rainbow top hat, which represents her choice for walking toward joy. But butterflies are born from her belief and, though she cannot see it at the moment, her shadow is growing green and ever into life. This acrylic painting is from the Spirited Life collection.
