This is a digital alteration of an image taken of The Burnett Statue. The Burnett Statue is dedicated to Frances Hodgson Burnett the author of many beloved children's stories. It is located in the Conservatory Garden in Central Park New York. The image captures the subtle beauty and curves of the sculpture and the essence of a graceful young woman. I do not know if it is meant to be a representation of the author herself or of her stories. But the statue itself evokes a feeling of peace and calm and the image is to me an image a graceful young woman with a quiet and mild spirit.
