The day I buried my beloved Ruby-dog, I was moved to capture the brilliance of the sumac leaves against the sky. I took that as a gift from her. Recreating these bright cheerful colors in paint was balm to my heart. This print was begun in mono print acrylics and then scanned and digitally composed. The pieces of this triptych were made together, but can also stand alone.
