This lonely tree was shot on October 6, 2015 at about 12:10 in the afternoon. The exposure was 1/500 of a second at f/11. The tree looks to be just about on its last legs, but the pastels in the background drew my attention to it because of the contrast with the green and brown of the tree. This was somewhere in Arizona.
