I wish there was a scary story to tell with this photo but it was quite by accident that we got the image. There is an old one room schoolhouse on the south island of New Zealand near a river that we like to fish. We stopped to look at the schoolhouse and discovered the door open. Our New Zealand fishing guide, Aaron Ford, went inside and looked out the window and waved at us. Barry told him not to wave or smile, just look out at us and this is the resulting image. The white bridge of his nose (from wearing his sunglasses all day) makes him look forbidding and eery.
