There is a young family who lives next door in an old farmhouse. The farmhouse has a root cellar, a smokehouse, springhouse, and other things that you don't see much anymore. One of these things is a clothesline that runs from the cellar door to a big old mulberry tree. When we saw these pants all hanging in a row, it brought back memories of days gone by, days when no one had a clothes dryer and all the "wash" was hung outside to dry.
