Rain is a major component of the water cycle and is responsible for depositing most of the fresh water on the Earth. Rain is liquid water in the form of droplets that have condensed from atmospheric water vapor and then becomes heavy enough to fall under gravity. Rain is also known as mist which is very small and not very dense. Mist is similar to drizzle, only the number of drops that remain on plants. Rain is very important for the survival of plants and animals. Humans have been know to smell rain coming through the lovely fresh, earthly aroma of an approaching storm. The sound of rain or a storm also calms us through appeasing the brain's demands. Waeking up in the early hours after it rains and seeing how dew drops tend to accumulate at the tips of spindly leaves, even if that means defying gravity by moving upwards is an unwillingness or lack of necessity of water drops to move on a dry surface that governs their positioning on flat leaves, causing them to stay where they form or fall during the time rain occurs. Photographing rain droplets on plants is nothing new, but the water droplets form on the edge, tip or the underside of leaves. Guttation is the process where excess pressure is released from inside the plant. Maybe this process also helps humans feel and have the same sense after seeing the droplets on plants after it rains. The colors may display differently from the actual print due to the settings on your phone, pc or desktop. Please note that some cropping may occur with various sizes.
