Visited this very old church in Taos just as morning mass was ending. The priest invited me in and gave me a tour. This structure has been the object of many painting, including some from Georgia O'Keeffe. As we were ready to drive away, I wanted to get one more shot of the exterior, and as luck would have it, I captured the priest leaving still wearing all his vestments. Between the blue sky, the white crosses, the adobe exterior, and the golden hues of the priest make this a once in a lifetime shot. Probably my most favorite and most lucky image I have ever captured. It is spectacular as a large format print with a white mat and frame.
